Listen to the readings at Mass today!
St. Paul teaches a great lesson today, God will supply our every need if we fully rely on Him.  Paul mentions that he had been hungry and had plenty, had plenty and had nothing, but he continued to persevere and God provided.  We must fully rely on God and trust Him.  It is very hard to trust.  Pauls says, “My God will fully supply whatever you need,
in accord with his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. To our God and Father, glory forever and ever. Amen.” and he adds, “I can do all things in him who strengthens me.” Phil 4:12-14, 19-20
When we pray and sit in silence listening to God and reading the Scriptures, God speaks to us and give us perspective.  God has never failed.  If He stops loving us and caring about us, we cease to exist.  Trust in God and pray for an increase in faith!
Jesus teaches us in the Gospel, that the Father has created a banquet (heaven) and He had a feast for His son (Jesus) and many are invited.  What a great gift!  But, many people are too busy and have their mind on other things.  Today, are greatest distraction is sports and our electronics and put God last instead of first.  We must be careful because we are living in the end times right now, Jesus already did all of the suffering, died, and resurrected He will come back at any time.  Now is the time to focus on God, keep Him first in our lives, and bring Him into all that we do.  We are already saved and invited, don’t ever let a day go by forgetting what God has done for us and is doing!  Be ready, trust in God, and live!
