Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary.
A leper came to him and kneeling down begged him and said,
“If you wish, you can make me clean.”
Moved with pity, he stretched out his hand,
touched the leper, and said to him,
“I do will it. Be made clean.”
The leprosy left him immediately, and he was made clean.
Then, warning him sternly, he dismissed him at once.
Then he said to him, “See that you tell no one anything,
but go, show yourself to the priest
and offer for your cleansing what Moses prescribed;
that will be proof for them.”
The man went away and began to publicize the whole matter.
He spread the report abroad
so that it was impossible for Jesus to enter a town openly.
He remained outside in deserted places,
and people kept coming to him from everywhere. MK 1:40-45
Imagine being banned from your family, friends, school, workplace, community, everybody. There are other lepers living with you in misery outside the towns. You may have lost all hope. Then, you hear that there is a Man that can cure you and set you free of your illness. Just as the leper did, we would fall to our knees and beg Jesus to heal us. Now, stop imagining and instead of a leper insert you and me as a sinner. Jesus wills to heal us and He willed to die on the cross to fulfill His Father’s will to save us. He wills Baptism, reconciliation, and gives Himself to us totally and completely in the Eucharist, so that we have an opportunity for His grace and to be forgiven when we fall so that we can come back to Him healed of our infirmities, holy, and enter heaven. Jesus told the leper to show himself to the priest to be cleansed by what Moses prescribed, so that the priests would allow him back into their religious community. We too must forgive and allow people back into our lives. Forgiveness sets free the chains that bind us filled with hatred, anger, frustration, worry, anxiety, and bitterness towards another. Forgive and experience peace.
“Say please, thank you, and I’m sorry every day.” –Pope Francis
Today’s challenge: Allow Christ to heal your wounds, come before Him begging on your knees.
Be a servant, become a saint!
#Christian YOLO
I think God is trying to tell us that we can be cleaned meaning are sins can be forgiven.
I realized that Christ is always wanting to heal us and we have to give him the chance. If only we would believe in him and let him do his healing work on us we would live much happier lives.
Jesus wants all of us to be made clean, just not exactly leprosy, but our soul. But if we want to be made clean, we have to ask him, we have to approach him in confession. we have to want it, he won just do it.
Can I get a praise him?!?!
Jesus will forgive us no matter what, like the leper who had lost all hope, we sometimes lose all hope when we sin a lot, but we should always know that Jesus will forgive.
The scripture today is trying to tell me that no matter what my problems are God can always fix them no matter how big or how small the problems may be.
Today you see how Jesus is all powerful. He can cure any disease and can save anyone who believes in Him. He is truly the Son of God and wants to save us from our sins.
We need to forgive more so we can be forgiven.
Jesus is telling me that Jesus wants to help us in our lives. Jesus will heal us of our sins so that we can be a better person.
I think everyone in this world needs healing. I need healing.
I learned that so many people has leprosy and all wanted to be healed because nobody wanted them in the town. So everyone rushed to Jesus to be healed and he healed them all. He does all these miracles because he loves us and he answers our prayers because he loves us.
I think god is telling me that like you are one of a kind and you should not believe any thing that someone says to you because you are the best version of you.
WE should let Jesus into our lives and let him heal us. If we lose all hope Jesus will give us hope. In our deepest darkest part of our life we will give up but Jesus will be there to lead us to the right path.
In today’s reading we find that Jesus cured leprosy. Jesus can heal anyone, like our hearts. When we go to confession he is doing just that. Sometimes we don’t realize it but every time you go to adoration and confession, if you really believe he will heal you. That is why we should go to adoration more often and just be with him and listen to what he has to say.
Today i have heard from the gospel that we need to just come and ask forgivenes,to get down on our knees and pray to God.If you do ask for forgiveness God will never not forgive you.
Jesus can cure all, as long as we believe in him. If we don´t believe in Him and His ability then he won´t cure you. You hear Jesus say a couple times to those who were sick that you were saved because of your faith. I think you can also take this the spiritual way, yes they were physically healed, but also spiritually. If we have faith in God and Jesus we will be spiritually saved which is better than physically healed. Think about it, 20 more years on Earth, or Eternity with God.
Jesus saved us and gave us eternal life. We need to be prepared because we never will know the date or hour he will return. He heals us from our sins and takes the burden of caring them.
This is why people should follow Jesus because he will die fro you.
If we humbly submit to Gods will then we will be made clean. God will cleanse us of our sins no matter what have done. God is merciful and he loves us, so to be made clean we must love him back. God loves us so much and wants us to be with him that he sent his son to die for our sins.
we can not worship something we do not know this means that we can not be half way with God we learn about him and talk to him.
To me this is a really cool reading because this man came into this town and was curing lepers when they are often left to die, but this man came and was curing then so they did not have to die.
this passage tells me to always remember that Jesus is God and trust in him and do whatever he tells you and he told his apostles to believe and you will be healed
This is telling me that I have to believe and God will help me as he did with the leper. This is showing me that God wants me and God loves me and wants me to be happy.
I think this passage is amazing because it shows that if we let God, no matter how matter how much we’ve sinned or how bad it is, God will always forgive us.
Your belief will save you. If you believe In God he will save you.
It says that no matter how “unhealthy” my relationship with God is he will always forgive me and give me another chance.
He is telling us that we can be forgiven or cleaned.
We can be spiritually cleaned by Jesus.
We can be cleansed saying that Our sins can be forgiven. We need to go to the Church when we haven’t been in a while
That God is all powerful and is wanting to heal us b/c we are his BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN!!!!!!
We need to be thankful and let Jesus into our lives to help us and heal us from our sins.
I think Jesus is telling us to trust in him
today Jesus revealed His power by healing the leper. we all need his healing and forgiveness, so we also must forgive others.
I think that God is trying to tell us to remember to go to confession, especially when we have committed a mortal sin
I think Jesus is telling me to trust in him.
Jesus sends the healed leper away to the temple, knowing that this will help both him and the leper to get his life renewed. Jesus heals this man wanting nothing, like he forgives our sins only wanting the best for us.
Jesus wants to forgive us and clean us from our sins. Although we have to allow him to come into us and cure us. So we need to go to Church every Sunday so it allows him to come to you.
Jesus cured him, thas good. we should go to confession
Jesus forgives us no matter what we do
if we ask for forgivness jesus will forgive
Jesus wants us to go to confession so we can be spiritually clean than in real life.
You believe in what you believe and God will judge what your sins and virtues are if you beileve in God
he is telling us that we need to forgive others because sooner or later your gonna want whoever you got in a fight with back so that you can talk to him.
That God can heal a person with leprosy and it left the man in a rush. Another suprise to me is that the man didn’t listen to Jesus and told everyone. Jesus can forgive anyone.
Jesus will forgive us even if we have what seems like the worst sins; just like he cured a man from what seems like the worst disease. He will be moved with pity for us, if we just ask for his forgiveness.
This teaches us that God can always heal us. He can heal us physically and spiritually. He can heal and forgive us for our sins, and he can physically heal us if we are sick.
If we just ask God to save and we truly believe God will have it be done because God loves us no matter what sins we may commit he will always forgive us.
Jesus is constantly trying to help us and heal us. We need to let him in and ask for forgiveness. We can’t hide so why try. You just need to own up to it and be truly sorry and ask for forgiveness. We need to let Jesus in to heal us.
Jesus is telling us that He wants us to be clean. Jesus loves us, and if we want to be clean than we need to love Him back.
I believe God is trying to tell us that he is always and forever will be willing to forgive us no matter what we do. If we come and tell him we are sorry then he will most certainly forgive us.☺☺☺☺☺☺☺

?????????????????????????????????????????????????
It’s shocking that Jesus went up to a Lepor, I mean who walks up to a Lepor??? HE walked up to the Lepor and healed him, he cleaned him. Just like how Jesus walks up to us when we’re full of sin and cleans us from our sin.
I think that God is telling look around love what you have
This shows us that I there were outcasts, back in the older days due to disease. However there are social outcasts nowadays, as we welcome the sick, as we are knowledgeable of what is wrong with them, and are trying to help. But we didn’t help them before because we feared them, we feared our own kind, and left them to die alone. Now it isn’t quite that dramatic nowadays, however we still take these people who are labeled as, “Geeks, Nerds, or Uncool” and we cast them out of our friend groups, or out of our friends, because we fear that if you welcome them, you yourself will be labeled “uncool” and then so we avoid these essential casting them out, and we cannot do this. Alright That’s my Take on this, I’m done now.
I know some people who are just waiting to spread ANY information.
Even the bad stuff.
But the good stuff?
That’s some what ok.
If you want them to keep a secret,
DONT TELL GOSSIPERS
and don’t tell them not to tell anyone
that just gives them ideas.
we should trust in Jesus to heal us if we have something happen to us or we sin. we should trust in Jesus with all our heart, mind and soul
This story reminds me of confession because no matter how bad we are or how ugly our sins were, Jesus will always forgive us.
in this passage we see Jesus heal a leper. i think that means that by offering up our pain and sins to God we get closer to Him and that our physical pain is a cross that we are bearing with God to purify us
Jesus heals all things. We have to let him in to clean us though.
Jesus revealed His power by healing the leper. think that God is telling look around love what you have
Jesus healed people and did miracles, to fufil Gods will
God is telling me that he can heal and forgive me even if I have a horrible sin on my soul. I just need a lot of faith and be truly sorry for my sins.
I think that Jesus was telling us to have faith and we will be healed. We need to go to him begging and having faith and he will heal us.
We all need healing and only God can help us with that, so we must ask him for forgiveness and go to confession.
In today’s Gospel, God cures lepers and tells them to go to church to show everyone the power of God. The lepers go spread the Gospel to others and people from everywhere come to Jesus and ask him to heal them and he does. This is showing that with faith, anything is possible.
This is telling me that I am like the leper and Jesus will always forgive me if I am sorry.
I think that this is telling us that we can be forgiven for every one of our sins.
Jesus is telling us that we must first have faith before he can help us with anything we need in our life.
No matter who we are, Jesus wants to clean everyone’s soul and get us to heaven.
Jesus wants us clean of everything impurities, hatred, sin everything
God will forgive us no matter our financial status, disabilities, or look;.
I think if we offer up our pain to God we will get closer to Him. We should also offer up our sins. No matter how bad our pain may be or our sins God we always forgive us.
We need to be like the leper and have great faith. We must go to church and confession like the leper did, too.
People in the new testament believed leprosy was showing your soul as unclean. Jesus wanted to show the leper that him having no disease doesn’t mean his soul was clean. It just meant he wouldn’t be an outcast. So he can fit in and praise God guiding others to understand God’s true purpose. To guide us to himself so we may become one with God just as he is one with us.
God is telling us asking for us to come and ask him to be healed by him and he cleanses us of our impurities that we have gained from being apart of this world and all he asks in return is that we do not boast about it and keep it to ourselves where our ego is telling us to go into the square and shout that the miracle has happened.
God will forgive us no matter our financial status, disabilities, or looks.
Trust in God, and put your faith in Him. God can and wants to heal us and especially our soul. Jesus was on the cross for us, He wants us to come to confession and repent of our sins. He loves us and we need to take advantage of His love and mercy.
Jesus always forgives us. We are like the leper and are sinners. We need to let Jesus into our lives so He can heal us. Everyday we can feel like a leper in the sense of not fitting in. Jesus heals and helps us everyday, we just need to let Him in.
We have to learn how to forgive others because Jesus loves us so much that he forgives us no matter what.
We should have our souls be clean just like Jesus cleaned the lepers to be made clean.
God wants to spiritually clean us, but we must go to Him first. To be cleaned we must go to confession, and Mass. We can also open ourselves up to Him, giving our pains and sins and trusting in Him.
In this passage the leper represents sin and we need to go to church for confession. There you need to confess your sins no matter how bad they are God will forgive you.
This it telling me to forgive to be forgiven. Also never loose hope.
We need to be cleaned. Jesus doesn’t need us but He loves us. We need HIm.
I think God is telling me that
Jesus will all ways help me when i am there
Jesus is telling us to trust him and go to him and we will be forgiven
I think that God is telling us that we will always be forgiven if we are truly sorry for our sins or anything that we did that may not be good. Also we need to be missionaries to spread the word of God to everyone.
I think God is telling me that to be grateful for what I have and not brag to others about my belonging. He is telling me to show my gifts, but be humble about it.
Jesus is trying to teach us to always have faith and when we do have faith then we will be healed.
I think that God is telling us that he can always forgive us and that he wants us to go to him and repent.
I think God is telling us that he can heal whatever sin we have and can cure any disease because he is all knowing and all powerful.
This tells us that just because our sins have been forgiven we still need to go to mass.
We cannot live without we need Him to heal us in our brokenness. He is always waiting for us to come to him, He will always forgive us, He will always love us, He will always protect us.
#praisehim
I think God is telling us to ask him for forgiveness
I think God is trying to tell us that if show forgiveness to him we can have a stronger and better relationship with God. And Confession can also heal us from our sins which can get you closer to God.
God cures every sickness, hatred evil, and defect
I think God is saying that we can forgive anyone for anything they have done.
Jesus will heal us and when we sin, we need to go to confession and make it right with God.
I think God is trying to tell us to ask for forgiveness in confession.
Today’s gospel shows that Jesus will always be there to heal us. We need to be able to go to God and give him our suffering. He will be able to turn the suffering into a virtue. We must always go back to God, no matter how big or small our problem is.
Jesus reveals his power to us by healing the leper. This is powerful to me because he is showing us that he can do anything. He is showing us that he can even heal us when we are very sick.
Jesus wants us to be clean. Maybe not exactly like leprosy, but we need our souls to be clean. We can’t get ourselves to heaven without our souls being clean. God loves us so much and wants us to get the eternal reward. He died on the cross just for us and our salvation. We have to accept all the challenges in our life and know that God is with us. He wants our souls to be clean and that’s a matter of us taking our time to get to confession. God can’t make us go to confession and that we need to go to get our souls clean. Confession is an option but as a Catholic, we can’t put confession on the back burner. Confession is priority. God loves us so much and we have to accept his call
Jesus will always forgive us, so we could at least forgive others that have wronged us. Jesus believes in us and no matter what we need to always remember that He loves us.
Jesus is showing us that no matter how deep into sin we get he can always heal us.
This is just like going to confession today. We come to God and he heals us. As soon as we leave the confessional, we end up disobeying Him again earning us new sins.
God is saying that He will always forgive us. But when he said go to show the priest after he cured him. I think he told him to do this so that he may convert other people. This shows that God wants us to tell other people about him so that we may convert many people to God!!!!!!!
God will forgive us no matter what.
The gospel says we need to allow people back into our lives. Just like Jesus said the Church would allow the leper to come back when they saw he was healed.
Jesus is telling me that He can and will forgive every sin. Even the worst sin possible. I truly believe this. He is also saying that He will give us peace when we are suffering. This peace and healing is found through the Eucharist.
God wants us to be made clean so we can get to Heaven.
We need to be thankful that we get to see our family every day and that we are healthy.
I personally felt as though He was telling us that even if we turn away from Him or do something terrible, we can will still be loved and we still can be forgiven. If we allow Him to forgive us, we shall be forgiven.
So in today’s gospel reading it talks about how Jesus cures a man from leprosy i think this is kinda like whenever we go to confession and we get clean of all sins.
Jesus is telling us to always know that he will forgive us no matter how bad of a sinner we are. If we want to be forgiven by Jesus then we must believe in him. If we don’t believe in Jesus then he will not forgive you. Jesus wants our soul to always be clean.
Jesus wants us to to forgive everyone that has done wrong and to never judge someone
Jesus will heal us no matter what. He will heal us spiritually and physically. Jesus ill always forgive us.
This scripture is saying that anyone who goes to Jesus and asks him something He will answer you and help you with whatever problem you have.
I feel as though He is telling us that even though we turn away from Him, we still can be loved and forgiven by Him.
We shouldn’t be afraid to ask Jesus to clean us from our sins. Most of us are afraid to go to confession and don’t tell the priest everything. We should be confident and brave enough to go to confession and able to confess everything. We should be thankful that we are able to clean our sins.
This is telling us that Jesus will always forgive us. He is a very forgiving person that loves us. He loves us SO much that he forgives us us even though we betray Him many times.
I think what they are trying to tell us is that we need to remember we are made by God. We need God to live he will watch over us and protect us.
Everything that happens to you is through God’s will and you can’t just ask him and expect it to happen that second or at all. God has a plan for you and you can’t control it because it is his will not yours. If God does answer your call you shouldn’t brag about it’s a personal thing between you and him.
I think that God wants to heal us from our sins, but we need to go to Him and ask him for forgiveness. We need to trust God and put our faith in Him.
I think that Jesus is telling us to love him with our whole hearts and to spread the word about him I do not really understand why he would not tell him to go spread the word.
Jesus heals everyone, no matter if we are the worst person in the history of the world. Confession heals us, just as Jesus healed the leper. No matter how unclean we are God is completely loving, and in being so he forgives and heals us all.
God has the power to do whatever He wills. We can ask Him for anything but He will grant us what He wants.
We should be begging for Jesus’ mercy. He is the one who we should be worshiping, not false gods. Jesus walked this Earth, made the blind see, the lame walk, and the mute talk. He can work miracles and heal us in our lives, just like those whom he healed in the New Testament.
In the Gospel jesus shows us that he can heal anything. we should be closer to Jesus because if he can heal anything he can do anything like forgiving our sins so we can get to Heaven.
Jesus is God. He is true God and true Man. He came to this world not for himself but for US. He wants us to be happy. When he cured the leper he told him to go and show himself in front of the priest, since in those times they believed the people got leprosy were sinners, and when the man showed himself in front of the chief priests to show that he was clean, but, since Jesus cured him h was not only clean in body, but also clean in his soul.
We can not be half way with God but no matter what God will always forgive our sins and love us
God shows us that he can heal anything. He is all so going to love us no matter what we do to him.
God is telling us how we need to forgive people and how He loves us no matter what we do.
