Happy Commeration of all Souls! Pray today for all the faithful departed especially for those in your family. In the Gospe today Jesus says, “Everything the Father gives me will come to me, and I will not reject anyone who comes to me”
First, we must dedicate ourselves totally and completely to Jesus who will not deny us. I struggle with this like many of us because of pride, the Original Sin. I want to be God in my life instead of letting God direct and lead me. This causes me to worry and be anxious. So, if we make this big decision to be all in with Jesus, what does He promise? “For this is the Will of my Father, for everyone who sees the Son and believes in him may have eternal life, and I shall raise him on the last day.”
Happiness eternally sounds good to me. It’s what keeps me fighting, praying, repenting, living doing God’s will, fasting, doing better in my relationships, treating people better, and enjoying His creation.
