The Apostles ask Jesus to, “Increase our faith” after Jesus teaches them about sin and forgiveness. Jesus teaches that sin will inevitably occur, but warns us that if we are the one who teaches one to sin we are in trouble. He quickly teaches after this warning that we should be quick to forgive if our brother repents. God forgives us and forgets, we are called to forgive like God.
Today’s Good News then lies between sin, those who lead others to sin, forgiveness, and faith. God gives the free gift of faith to believe in Him and His revealed Truths. This grace helps us resist temptation, forgive those who hurt us and repent, and lead others to God not away from God to glorify Him. Be Christ for others!
