Origen, an early Church Father, says, “We betray Jesus like Judas did anytime we accept sensual or worldly goods over the Savior or Word of Truth. Anytime we commit a sin for the sake of money or selfish motives, we betray God’s Word.”
Strengthened by fasting, prayer, sacrifice, and Almsgiving this Lent ask God to help you make Him “Lord of all your life.”
