The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is the Source and Summit of our faith given to us by God to help us gain salvation. It is the greatest prayer! God made it for us. We need the Mass and God, God and the Mass don’t need us. God has the power to bring us back through space and time to the foot of the cross with Mary and John. Jesus is saying the words of the last supper in our presence, not the priest because Jesus is the only one with this power. Last, we receive Jesus. What is greater than this?
Pray today that you remind yourself each day before going to Mass what you’re about to do, who made it, and who it was made for, then PARTICIPATE in this great celebration!
