Jesus said to his disciples:
“When the Advocate comes whom I will send you from the Father,
the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father,
he will testify to me.
And you also testify,
because you have been with me from the beginning.
“I have told you this so that you may not fall away.” Jn 15:26-16:4
Jesus said to his disciples:
“Now I am going to the one who sent me,
and not one of you asks me, ‘Where are you going?’
But because I told you this, grief has filled your hearts.
But I tell you the truth, it is better for you that I go.
For if I do not go, the Advocate will not come to you.
But if I go, I will send him to you.
And when he comes he will convict the world
in regard to sin and righteousness and condemnation:
sin, because they do not believe in me;
righteousness, because I am going to the Father
and you will no longer see me;
condemnation, because the ruler of this world has been condemned.” Jn 16:5-11
This is revolutionary! If a person is about to leave for a long time and wanted to leave behind the most important things that he/she can, it would include the most important material things and the wisest words. In Jesus’ case, that would be the most important spiritual things and the Truth in Word and Spirit. God is the most intelligent. He does not make mistakes and today’s words from Jesus are profound. ”But I tell you the truth, it is better for you that I go.” Why? Jesus is outside of us, Jesus breathes the Holy Spirit inside of us. We often look for God in so many places when He is right inside of you. This should change the way you pray, the way you act, the way you understand how we are saved. Prayer should be in silence; God is found in a still small voice. Be still and know that I am God. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you each day increasing the gifts and fruits of the Spirit inside you that you received at Baptism and Confirmed in high school. The greatest gift God gives us is Himself in the Holy Spirit, the love between the Father and Son that is so great we have the Holy Spirit. Open yourself up to the guidance of the Holy Spirit and be amazed at what God will do with you!
Jesus said to his disciples:
“I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now.
But when he comes, the Spirit of truth,
he will guide you to all truth.
He will not speak on his own,
but he will speak what he hears,
and will declare to you the things that are coming.” Jn 16:12-15
Jesus said to his disciples:
“As the Father loves me, so I also love you.
Remain in my love.
If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love,
just as I have kept my Father’s commandments
and remain in his love.” Jn 15:9-17
Jesus leaves us the Holy Spirit for a reason. It is God’s salvation plan for us to have the spiritual powers of mind, will, and memory to fight sin and love. He gives us the Truth. He commands us to love. He gives us the Holy Spirit to accomplish this. Amen.
Become a saint!

Jesus gives us the Holy Spirit to guide us. He gives us it to help us follow the right path and to be there when we need guidance and strength to power through.
We must believe in Christ so that we can join him with his Father in Heaven.
I can apply this to my daily life by always fighting for the ones love, as Jesus did. I need to fight to not sin, we all sin, but to not do as much. To think before I do, and always know that everything good I do I am doing for my savior.
It means what will he leave for us when he dies.
i have no idea
Im sure when Jesus revealed he was leaving his people it was hard for the people just like it was hard to leave school
Jesus gave the Apostles courage to go out and preach his teachings, and do his works even after he left. We need to do the same. We should go out and just follow Jesus’ commandments.
In this scripture, Jesus says that unless i go, the advocate will not come to you. he is also saying that no one can go to the father unless through Jesus. I can reflect on this scripture by praying to everyday
Jesus left us to make us have better lifes. We all have to believe that He is still watching over us and answering our prays.
Jeus leaves us the Holy spirit for a reason. We need to understand this. God is the trininty
He sent himself so he could understand the human body.
I can apply this to my life by praying that I will stay close to God.
Jesus left the Holy Spirit for us so that it can guide us through our lives. We have to let the Holy Spirit into our lives in order for it to guide us. With its guidance, we can get to Heaven.
Jesus left us the most important spiritual gift. The Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit can help you and guide you with its fruit and gifts. He gave us the Holy Spirit for a reason and we need to use it.
In today’s gospel, at the ascension, Jesus explains to his apostles, saying, “When the Advocate comes whom I will send you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, he will testify to me. And you also testify, because you have been with me from the beginning. “I have told you this so that you may not fall away” (Jn 15:26-16:4). Then, prompting his apostles, he began “Now I am going to the one who sent me, and not one of you asks me, ‘Where are you going?’ But because I told you this, grief has filled your hearts. But I tell you the truth, it is better for you that I go. For if I do not go, the Advocate will not come to you.
But if I go, I will send him to you. And when he comes he will convict the world in regard to sin and righteousness and condemnation: sin, because they do not believe in me; righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you will no longer see me; condemnation, because the ruler of this world has been condemned”. Our Lord reveals to us that the Holy Spirit will descend into the apostle’s hearts once he has departed from them, stretching into their bodies from head to toe. In line thirteen, “for if I do not go, the Advocate will not come to you,” Jesus drives into our minds that, should he remain with them, the Holy Spirit, the Advocate and helper, the Spirit if truth, will not descend down on them.
The scripture today is saying that we will not know when are day that we leave this Earth will come but if we are truthful in what we believe then we will find peace. We also don’t know when Jesus will come again but when he does he will seperate the sinners from the belivers and we all have to be ready for that day when ever it comes.
Jesus leaves us with the Holy Spirit in today’s scripture. This is actually one of the most important things that happen in the bible. Once he leaves the Holy Spirit with them, the Apostles go out and preach in different youngest. More and more people come to the catholic church growing our faith.
From this Scripture, I got that we should take time out of the day to be in silence to listen to God’s calling. He could be trying to speak to us, but we can’t hear.
Jesus is telling us we all have a plan from God.
The Holy Spirit is a Spirit who can guide us without actually being in front of us and telling us what to do. If Jesus stayed, He would probably have to suffer more. Since the Holy Spirit us a spirit instead of actual human flesh, it is easier for Him to spiritually guide us without physical suffering.
I will follow God the best I can for the rest of my life and follow in his footsteps.
Today Jesus is telling me that there’s not need to worry. The Holy Spirit is here to guide me. Even though I’m not here you will be fine. The Holy Spirit will help you and guide you don’t worry.
Jesus will leave us with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will guide us to be holy. With His help we can get to Heaven.
It is teaching me that I will always be with God. If I go against him I will still have him he will never leave me. I need to like him and respect him.
Jesus is saying that He will send the Father to us if we believe in Him. He wants for us to pray for Him and don’t forget about Him and how He will always be with us.
Jesus gives us the Holy Spirit to help us throughout our life. The Holy Spirit helps us to be good Catholics and to teach others about the faith. I feel like I need to do more with the gift of Confirmation that I have received.
I think what Jesus is trying to tell us is that He will guide us and we just gotta trust in Him. He will always lead us in the right path no matter what.
Rejoice for the Christ has risen! In today’s gospel, Jesus says that He is leaving earth for heaven, and for us not to grieve, for he needs to return to Heaven so he can have the Father send down the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit acts as our spiritual treasure map. The Holy Spirit is here to help guide us to the infinite treasures of Heaven. I am going to apply this scripture to my life by praying Fr. Issac’s prayer, “Come Holy Spirit come through Mary. Come Holy Spirit come through Mary. Come Holy Spirit Come through Mary.” every day asking for the Holy Spirit to come and help us on our journey to Heaven.
Stay Safe, Stay Well, Stay Positive

We need to trust Jesus in everything he does for us and will do for us in the future because he is the person that will lead us to the best place possible and make us eternally happy.
To stay faithful to God and to always have faith in what he does. Always be his disciple and that he should always be number one person in you’re heart
I can put this into my life because sometimes people won’t mind what happens until it is actually specifically told to them and made their problem saying instead of trying to stay by myself and not have to deal with others until forced, I should look out and try to help people if I see the opportunity
This Scripture is telling us that, though we may not see Jesus, He will always be with us. This means that we need to trust that He has a plan for us even though we do not see him.
We have to always be with Christ and trust in Him. Because those who are will be rewarded in Heaven.
We have to be with Christ all the time and put all of our trust in Him. Those who do that will get the ending reward in Heaven.
In thus scripture God is talking to me about family. God put family in our life to be our role models for life. Family is also here to try and get us to heaven and to teach others to be holy.
The Holy Spirit is here to guide us. There can be something hard that happens in your life but God is still here, he is always around us. Life is hard but that is why we were sent the Holy Spirit.
This is a great part of the Bible. I love how Jesus left spiritual things behind, and also the Truth in Spirit and Word. He will always be looking out for us, even in this hard time.

The title says WHAT WILL JESUS LEAVE BEHIND BEFORE HE ASCENDS THAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR OUR SALVATION? And the answer is his mother and friends but when he leaves he will make it so that his everyone who is willing to follow him will make it into the eternal life and happiness of heaven.
Jesus said to his disciples:
“I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now.

he will guide you to all truth.

My dad talks about this so much! He says that when we get to heaven, we will know all the mysteries of the world! We will know who tripped me in that volleyball game, we will know who else Jesus healed that we didn’t know of!!
I can apply this to my life by knowing that Jesus is the wisest one. I should let Jesus take the wheel and let Him control me. I can let go of my worries and have faith in Him. For He is God and I am his daughter. I should obey and listen to Him.
Wow. we’ve got to be faithful. that is what I would take away from this.
listen to God and everything will be ok
When we sin, we are sinning against Jesus because he has been there since the beginning. So we must strive to sin less and hurt Jesus less
When people leave or even when they come back, it is kind of customary to give a gift. When Jesus “left” he gave us one of the greatest gifts ever, the Holy Spirit. It would be incredibly hard to get through the day without the Holy Spirit. We should be so thankful for Him.
Jesus tells them to not fear death because Jesus has a plan for them and they will see him again.
In this scripture, Jesus leaves us with the Holy Spirit. He even says it is better if He goes and leaves us the Holy Spirit. I can apply this to my life by always having faith, and believe in the Holy Spirit’s plan for me. Especially right now, I can apply this by really believing and praying a lot more.

I can apply this to my life by always having faith, and believe in the Holy Spirit’s plan for me. Especially right now, I can apply this by really believing and praying a lot more. By doing this, i can take my faith to the next level.
I can apply this scripture passage to my life today by remembering to pray to the holy spirit more often. Normally I just pray to Jesus or Mary, and sometimes I don’t even think about the Holy Spirit in my prayers. God sent him down to us for a reason: to help us reach our final destination, heaven. And If we don’t pray to him or ask for his intersession, it will be a lot harder to get to heaven.
Jesus is trying to explain to the apostles who he is.
Jesus loves us so much that He sent the Holy Spirit to guide us. Here on earth we have the Holy Spirit, while to be with Jesus is out ultimate goal in Heaven.
I can apply this scripture to my life by knowing that God will guide me no matter what i go through he will always be with me because he love me and he love all of us too. If you open your self up to God you will see what he has planned for you!
What I got from the Gospel today is that God takes certain people out of our life for a good reason. It is in his plan for us (in this case all of humanity) even though it makes us sad or it doesn’t feel like they should go. The other day I heard someone say “God takes people out of our life because he heard a conversation that we didn’t.” And feel that this really correlates with the Gospel today.
We need to trust Jesus in what he says. If he says to follow him we should because he will lead us to greatness.
In today’s scripture Jesus is telling us that he is the son of God and that if we are with him from the beginning then we will be with him in the end.
God, show me the gifts you have left for me so that I can use them for your will.
Jesus talks to us, we often think that “if he is not right in front of us visually that he has left. Or that he no longer cares.” God is always with us we need to chose to acknowledge him and talk to him in prayer it takes practice talk to him like you are friends. tell him you care and listen. Jesus did not just leave, or disappear or vanish he is with us we need to chose to talk with him and pray.
We don’t deserve the grace and forgiveness because every one hurts Jesus every day.
I will open myself up to the Holy Spirit in my spiritual life as well as my daily life. This is what Jesus wanted from us.
i can imply this to my life by letting Jesus into my life.
Jesus is the only person that can send people to heaven and let them in.
What i got from todays scripture reading is that you do not have to see to believe that Jesus is real and our savior.
From this, I take that as humans we view death as a terrible thing, but it can be a good thing too. We can use it as a time to grieve together and remember all of the good things about that person.
Jesus is the truth and He is in our hearts. We should live every day with Jesus and treating others as Jesus would.
In this passage again Jesus is saying that if you do not believe in him than you will not have eternal life. When I had just gotten n a wreck there was one thing I could think of and it was help, help from Jesus so my dad would be okay and it turned out better than it should have.
I can apply this to my daily life by noticing everything that everyone has done for me.
Jesus left us the most important thing with us, so we should leave the most important things with us.
God sent Jesus here for a reason and that reason is to proclaim the word of god and the beautiful life that he had given us. During the covid-19 people are probably turning their backs on god but I look at it as everything happens for a reason god wouldn’t do this to punish us but it has helped us and the earth. We come to find out that we were the earths virus. All the good things that has happened to the pollution and other amazing things has just put a smile on my face. My mom has always taught me to look at life with a smile. even though it is hard i still try. this pandemic has taught me how to love and never take things for granted. I have gotten closer to my family especially my brother even through the ups and downs we always find a way to get through together as a family even though there are always little fights here and there but we forgive each other and move on. since this has happened my faith has gotten stronger. Jesus has been my best friend. God is always there even though it may not seem that way. he loves us.
Wen people need to understand that the lord will come at any time again and he left us with the holy spirit too help us learn and we as people spend way more time reading text and sending them than reading and writing the bible.
In John 15:9-17 I read, “As the Father loves me, so I also love you” and, “If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love”. Jesus loves us and cares about us. He gives us the option and free choice to choose whether we follow him and keep his commandments, or the choice to fall out of union with him. Jesus will love us unconditionally, but we must keep his commandment as to get to Heaven and remain in his love.
In this scripture I realized that maybe loosing a best friend maybe for a good reason. I also learned that we need to preach what God has taught us so that others can be saved.
God knows what were going to do. He sends us on a path. He had to die to open the gates, and he did. He died for us. The least we could do is pray.
