Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Jesus cried out and said,
“Whoever believes in me believes not only in me
but also in the one who sent me,
and whoever sees me sees the one who sent me.
I came into the world as light,
so that everyone who believes in me might not remain in darkness.
And if anyone hears my words and does not observe them,
I do not condemn him,
for I did not come to condemn the world but to save the world.
Whoever rejects me and does not accept my words
has something to judge him: the word that I spoke,
it will condemn him on the last day,
because I did not speak on my own,
but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and speak.
And I know that his commandment is eternal life.
So what I say, I say as the Father told me.”  JN 12:44-50

Jesus did not come to condemn, but the Father has put Him in a role to judge.  What’s the key factor?  God loves us, He sent Jesus to “save the world”, not condemn us.  We condemn ourselves.  How?  ”Whoever rejects me and does not accept my words has something to judge him: the word that I spoke, it will condemn him on the last day”.  First, we must come to know the Word inside and out.  Then, we must take it to heart and live it.  If we strive to live it, we will have many trials for love requires great sacrifices.  We will be battle tested, but we will come to know the greatest love, the true love of the Father through His Son.

Today’s challenge: Recognize the mercy and love of God in your life.  How many times He has forgiven you, sacrificed under bread and wine, loved you through a friend or family member, coworker, daughter, son, brother, or sister.  He has blessed you every day with every necessity of food, shelter, clean air and water, clothing (we are some of the few on this planet that can say that).  Allow God to love you.
