Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.

Jesus said to Thomas, “I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me.
If you know me, then you will also know my Father.
From now on you do know him and have seen him.”
Philip said to him,
“Master, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.”
Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you for so long a time
and you still do not know me, Philip?
Whoever has seen me has seen the Father.
How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me?
The words that I speak to you I do not speak on my own.
The Father who dwells in me is doing his works.
Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me,
or else, believe because of the works themselves.
Amen, amen, I say to you,
whoever believes in me will do the works that I do,
and will do greater ones than these,
because I am going to the Father.
And whatever you ask in my name, I will do,
so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
If you ask anything of me in my name, I will do it.” JN 14:6-14

“The Father who dwells in me is doing his works.” Jesus and the Creator are One with each other. If we believe this, “whoever believes in me will do the works that I do and will do greater than these”. Wow! If we believe we will do Jesus’s works and even greater. How can this be? ”And whatever you ask in my name, I will do”. How many people have been baptized by the name of Jesus? All the faithful since His death and resurrection. How many sins have been forgiven through the name Jesus? All of them if we are repentant sinners. How many people have been healed through the anointing of the sick through Jesus? All who have asked in His name. How many have been confirmed in the Holy Spirit through His name? Everyone who the bishops have laid their hands on. How many have been married through their vows in Jesus’s name? Every Christian marriage. How many have been ordained to the priesthood and religious life in Jesus’ s name? Everyone who has answered the call. How many miracles have been performed daily on the altars of the world through the power of the Holy Spirit in Jesus’s name? Countless. How many prayers are answered daily in Jesus’s name if it is God’s will? All of them. ”If you ask anything of me in my name, I will do it”. Believe in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and all things are possible through God’s grace. May we daily have a resounding yes to God like Mary with complete trust and guidance of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Today’s challenge: Ask Jesus anything in His name, and He will do it for you, if it is the will of God. Can you accept His Will over yours? It requires trust, sacrifice, suffering, prayer and fasting. When is the last time you asked Jesus for a miracle?

Opportunities for grace: spend time with the annoying person, the person who is different than everyone else, the greatest sinner, the hardest person to get along with, pray even when you don’t have time, devote yourself to the rosary even when you are tired or busy, go to confession, go to Mass and receive the Eucharist, when suffering offer it up with Christ’s suffering and invite Him into your suffering-He knows all about it, go to practice/work when you don’t want to, be quiet in class even when it is hard, do your homework when it is hard and don’t cheat, go to Adoration, pray, pray, pray some more and offer everything you have and are to Mary so she can purify it and joyfully give it to her Son.

Be a servant, become a saint!
