Prayer Prompt before reading JN 3:31-36: Come, Holy Spirit, teach me how to pray, interpret the Scriptures for me so that I may know the Truth about who God the Father is and God the Son so that I may know who I am.

“WHOEVER BELIEVES IN THE SON HAS ETERNAL LIFE” JN 3:31-36

Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.

Jesus is speaking to Nicodemus in the middle of the night telling him who He is. Nicodemus is a high ranking Jew and one who actually believes Jesus could be the Messiah the Jews have been waiting for. Jesus continues to teach us that He is God and the Father has given Him everything. He also says very strong words about the afterlife. We have to believe in the Son to enter eternal life. Afterlife is a radical belief. It is not something easy to believe in since all we know is our earthly life, our physical world. Jesus asks us to trust in Him and be not afraid. He is here to teach us about our heavenly home.

It might be important to read a book on near death experiences (NDE) or near death experiences of the blind. These are cases when people are dead/unconscious for a few minutes, see a light, dead relatives, or themselves and the doctors/nurses working on them. It is proof consciousness exists outside the body or after life. Most importantly, Jesus proves this to us with the resurrection of His body. The gospels are not a myth or an entertaining fantasy novel. Jesus rose from the dead. This changes everything and should change the way we live each day for this life in preparation for the next. It means this world is not all there is. It changes the way we live our life to prepare for the eternal world with God in all of his glory, no pain, suffering, sin, death, and brokenness.

“The Father loves the Son and has given everything over to Him. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains upon him.” Jn 3:31-36

We have a Father in heaven who radically loves us and His one greatest desire is for His children to be back with Him. Choose wisely, belief begins in your heart and Christ reveals that we must believe in Him to enter eternal salvation. Christianity is the only religion that matures. It has a past, present, and future. Learn more about Jesus, pray, and share this Good News with others. He is alive, be present to Him, and spend time with Him!

Be a servant, become a saint!

“‘The Father loves the Son and has given everything over to Him. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains upon him.’ John 3:31-36” This stood out to me because it really just gives it to you straight, if you obey God you make it to Heaven if you disobey God you may not see Heaven.

The Father loves the Son and has given everything over to him.
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life,
but whoever disobeys the Son will not see life,
but the wrath of God remains upon him.
This part stuck out to me the most because it can help people understand that even when we sin, even when we are bad, God will be there for us. God never leaves us, he is always with us, but even though he is with us always we should still try our best to do what is good.

this gospel spoke to me by telling me that God sent his son to this world and he died on the cross just for us, and he is above all. he’s not just some spiritual figure, but an earthly man who walked along side us.

“WHOEVER BELIEVES IN THE SON HAS ETERNAL LIFE” JN 3:31-36. Something that stood out to me about this is that Jesus is saying that whoever believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

This is saying that we can only be saved through Jesus, not anyone nor anything else.

In today’s Gospel it talks about how no one accepts “the one who comes from above” and His testimonies. That’s us, we are never accepting Jesus’ testimonies in real life. We hear them, only half of us believe them most of the time and then there’s that little bit that does believe. “Whoever does accept his testimony certifies that God is trustworthy,” it talks about how that if we do believe and do what he has said, it proves that God is worthy of our trust even though we shouldn’t have to prove it to him.

“Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains upon him.”
This stuck out to me because if we believe and stay true to what we believe, we will have eternal life with Jesus. But even if we start to turn away from God, He still wants us to live in Heaven with Him. We need to try to stay close with Jesus and not turn away. But, Jesus will always love us no matter what comes our way!

“The one who comes from above is above all.” This is how we should be treating God, like He is the greatest being and deserving of all glory and honor. Sometimes, we can think that God doesn’t know anything about us or what is best for us, but it is actually always the opposite because without God, we will never know what we are doing or how we will get to where we are meant to go.

“Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains upon him.” In order to get to heaven we must believe the Son has eternal life. God still has love for us even when we sin but it it our decision to choose the will of the good.

The reflection for today about the gospel is that Jesus is saying that what is above is from God and what from earth is earthly. Jesus also implies that whomever accepts His testimonies will be certified in God, but whomever does not will have the wrath of God remaining upon himself.

Jesus is all knowing. He knows our sins, our burdens, our sorrows. When you look at someone can you see what they are going through? No, because you can not see their soul. Even though they look happy maybe they aren’t, maybe someone they loved just passed or they are going through mental health problems. You will never know only God will. That is why today’s gospel says he is above all. He is there for you when it seems like no one else is.

What stood out to me in the gospel is this “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains upon him.” Because of the way it is said and the way it impacted my heart.

In today’s Gospel we must fully have trust and faith in God to go to Heaven. Jesus is the holy and mighty one from above. We must believe that the Son has eternal life.

Today’s gospel shows that Jesus is greater than any human because He comes directly from heaven, while everyone else is limited to earthly knowledge. He tells people what God is like, but most people choose not to believe him. When you trust Jesus, you are actually trusting that God is true and trustworthy. Following Jesus leads to eternal life, while rejecting him means losing out on that life.

Today’s Gospel tells us that God comes above everyone and everything. Whoever believes in him will have eternal life, God doesnt ration the Holy Spirit, he gives it to us all wholly and equally. Then God sent his own Son do save us, he died on the cross for US. So WE can go to heaven, whoever believes in the Son with have eternal life. God Bless!

the vers the father loves the sun and has given everything to him reminds me that god sent jesus to die for our sins and that God loves us all equally. It also reminds me that if there were only one person in the world god will still have sent jesus to die for us,this shows gods everlasting love for us he will be with us forever. We have a Father in heaven who radically loves us and His one greatest desire is for His children to be back with Him.He gave us the ten commandments so we can follow the word of God and meet him in heaven someday

In todays gospel, we learn that we should trust in the testimony because we will be trustworthy and we should preach the word of God. and if we believe in the word of God we will have eternal life with God in Heaven because he loves us so much he wants us to live with him in Heaven forever.

Today’s gospel says “He testifies to what he has seen and heard, but no one accepts his testimony.” We see what Jesus has done. We hear what he has said. Yet sometimes we do not belive.

John 3:31-36, “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life,
but whoever disobeys the Son will not see life,
but the wrath of God remains upon him.” This is what we need to live by, its just so simple we need to live by Our Fathers word and his word only not any other false god but His only. This Gospel is telling me that if we live by Our Fathers word we will have eternal life but if we don’t, then our life after our physical life wont be so good!

In today’s Gospel Jesus is trying explain why his was sent to earth. We always ask ourselves and God “Why am I here, what is my purpose?’ We are here to speak the word of God and do his will though we do not always know what that is. We have to trust God because he has a plan.
“He testifies to what he has seen and heard,
but no one accepts his testimony.
Whoever does accept his testimony certifies that God is trustworthy.”

This Gospel reminds us that God is all powerful. Whoever believes in him shall have eternal life. One of my favorite bible verses is John 4:16. Jesus says, ” I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Jesus wants us to follow him so we can have eternal life and if we do we will. And if we don’t we will face eternalty without him.
but he loves us so much that he gives so many chances and he still loves us. all he wants is a relation ship with us.

“The Father loves the Son and has given everything over to Him. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains upon him.” I think this mean whoever does not be nice to there family will not go to heaven. It also makes me think of how to get to heaven. And it also teaches you to be kind to everyone. And make sure to obey the 10 commandments.
