Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.
Jesus said to his disciples:
“When the Son of Man comes in his glory,
and all the angels with him,
he will sit upon his glorious throne,
and all the nations will be assembled before him.
And he will separate them one from another,
as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
He will place the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
Then the king will say to those on his right,
‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father.
Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
For I was hungry and you gave me food,
I was thirsty and you gave me drink,
a stranger and you welcomed me,
naked and you clothed me,
ill and you cared for me,
in prison and you visited me.’
Then the righteous will answer him and say,
‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you,
or thirsty and give you drink?
When did we see you a stranger and welcome you,
or naked and clothe you?
When did we see you ill or in prison, and visit you?’
And the king will say to them in reply,
‘Amen, I say to you, whatever you did
for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.’
Then he will say to those on his left,
‘Depart from me, you accursed,
into the eternal fire prepared for the Devil and his angels.
For I was hungry and you gave me no food,
I was thirsty and you gave me no drink,
a stranger and you gave me no welcome,
naked and you gave me no clothing,
ill and in prison, and you did not care for me.’
Then they will answer and say,
‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty
or a stranger or naked or ill or in prison,
and not minister to your needs?’
He will answer them, ‘Amen, I say to you,
what you did not do for one of these least ones,
you did not do for me.’
And these will go off to eternal punishment,
but the righteous to eternal life.” MT 25:31-46
Today, Jesus teaches us that when we do something for the “least brothers of mine, you did for me.” Who are the least brothers? I was surprised when I read the side note that this is up for much debate among Scripture Scholars. Many believed it to be the suffering of Christian missionaries. This Scripture is pointed towards the Gentiles and Jews. What can we take away from it? Jesus wants us to love through our actions, St. Francis says “when needed use words.” It is difficult to say that one act of love is greater than another, but when we give from our heart to the unlovable or when we do something simple for those in our homes, it is love.
Whether we do what St. Francis Xavier, patron of missions did, or St. Francis of Assisi who literally begged with the poor while taking care of them, or St. Therese of Liseux, who did little acts of love in a convent, it was the intention of their hearts to imitate Christ. We group and label people as the least among us, in God’s eyes we have equal dignity and we are all sinners who need His mercy. Are there different levels of need around us? Yes, and through reason we know it takes a greater effort and mercy to reach those on the fringes of society who may be getting what we think they deserve. If no one is left to give them hope, they are hopeless. Jesus is the hope of the hopeless and asks us to give of ourselves in an even greater way. As sinners, we cannot get what we deserve because Christ took our place. This is sacrificial love. When we imitate Christ, we too share this sacrificial love by taking care of those who do not deserve it. Christ is the King of the Universe, the most powerful, and what makes Him so powerful is sacrificial love. Amazing! Humble! Undeserving! Oh how I need this and yearn to give like Him.
Today’s challenge: Make yourself uncomfortable by sharing the Good News with someone or giving to those on the fringes of society. Don’t forget those in need right next to you! Love the unlovable
Be a servant, become a saint!

Jesus gave us these to help us realize that we don’t just have to be nice to God but also other people
I think this is saying that our actions effect the things we do, with the way that they have consequences. We should learn to use our actions for something that’s good, and with love, rather than with hate, or malice. As Catholics, our actions should imitate God, not contradict them with opposing things.
He is saying that you have to know the difference between the good and bad of things, and you have to get hurt to learn. You have to be broken to fix it. God loves us so much that he makes us get hurt and things that God puts in front of you is for a reason.
When the scripture said, “For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me,” I thought that when you truly need something God will provide what you need. God truly cares about you and wants you to succeed. He wants you to make it to heaven and will give you the tools to make it.
In today’s gospel, Jesus tells us “Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.” We need to treat others how we want to be treated. What we do for other people is what we do for God. The people say to Jesus that they did not see Him when he was sick, but Jesus tells them how they treat His people is how they treat God.
This is yet another analogy or parable in which Jesus tells us what we need to do. “Whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.” Jesus is telling us that we need to help other people, regardless of what we think of them, and respect those around, to get eternal life.
In todays gospel God is telling me that the people who love Him and serve Him will be sheep at His right hand. The people who do not love Him and do not serve Him will be the goats to His left. How we become sheep are that we go to Mass, go to confession, serve God, and be kind to others. We need to be these sheep so that we have eternal life with God in Heaven.
What I took away from this gospel is that all of my choices have consequences. If i want to get to heaven, I need to act Christ-like in all ways and I need to act like how Jesus wants me to act. I can’t just say, “Oh I go to Mass every Sunday, so I’ll go to heaven no matter what I do,” but that is simply wring. I need to act like Jesus would act in order for me to go to heaven. I need to indulge in what god teaches us for us to go to heaven and life a eternal life with Jesus.
iv realized i need to put my trust in god and i haven’t been doing that but why not why have i not maybe there is a lingering thought that God may not be real but i need to realize that is putting my trust is all i need
“Amen, I say to you, what you did not do for one of these least ones, you did not do for me.” Jesus says that whatever we do to others we do to HIm. If we are kind to eachother, thats how we are treating God. But if we treat someone bad, that how we treat Him.
Today the scripture is telling me that we need to think of others as Jesus. We need to know that Jesus is in them and what we do to them we do to Jesus. If we are in that mindset, we will do good things for others and for God. We will also do good for ourselves. We may be sacrificing to help others and make them happy, but by making others happy and bringing them to God we gain eternal life.
I think this scripture is telling me that God is always there for me and he is always listening to what i have to say to him when i pray. If we ask God for forgiveness when we do bad he will always forgive us because he loves us no matter how much we sin intentionally or not.
We often forget that our actions have consequences, whether they are good or bad consequences depends on our choices. Jesus died for us and our sins, so that we may live eternally with Him. The least we can do is try our hardest to fight against the devil. Jesus is not against us, He is there to help us. We wants us to be with HIm. He is willing to help us fight our sin, but only if we are willing to work hard with Him.
When ever we hurt someone we hurt God. Jesus is in each one of us and were all special to Him. Not one of us is better than the other the other. This is also why abortion is so wrong. Everyone deserves life no matter what. I think the gospel is saying if we help the followers of Jesus we help Him.
We are not in this life to be served but to serve. If we never die in ourselves as to give our lives to others, than what good are we? It is better for us to cut off our arm, saw off our leg, or to pluck our eye out if they causes us to sin than to be thrown into the fiery pit below. What does this mean? If someone or something causes us to sin in our lives, it is better to do without them. If we cannot serve others with these things, or people, than we must get rid of them in order to do what we were all made to do: serve others.
Jesus tells us that what we do for others is what we do for him, and whatever we don’t do for others we did not do for him. As Catholics we are called to serve and treat others how we would want to be treated.
Jesus is in everybody, and we should treat them as we would treat him.
Jesus is saying that we need to be kind to everyone. God is with everyone and if we don’t treat people with respect we are just hurting God. We never know when Jesus will come down and while we wait we need to be kind for him.
What reached out to me was, “For I was hungry and you gave me food”. What this means to me is that as Catholics we need to be there for everyone. Not just other Catholics, but to everybody. We also need to spread the faith to others as well. Another thing is volunteering and helping the poor.
In today’s scripture we see that we should be kind to everyone. He says ‘Amen, I say to you, what you did not do for one of these least ones, you did not do for me.’ He says this meaning if you can not love your neighbors how will you love me?
This Gospel tells us what we need to do to get to heaven. Jesus tells us how we help the poor. Jesus dwells in the poor. We should help those people because when we do that we help Jesus. When we get to judgement day Jesus will ask us if we did these things.
God help us when we need help and we need to help others as we help Christ.
Today Jesus is saying that the ones that help others and care for those sit on his side and are doing the good things and for those that do not help others and do not care for others they sit on his left side and do not do the good things that he wants us to do he is wanting us to go out and spread the word and help those others who need it
We were made in God’s image. Not only you, but everyone around you. No one is God, no one is as good as God, but we are like God, so we should treat others the same as we would do for God.
I think the passage is saying all our actions have consequences. If we hurt someone we hurt God. Good actions have good consequences. Like if we help someone when they are hurt we will be rewarded. Bad actions have bad consequences. If we ignore someone in their time of need. We ignore God. Jesus is in us and around us if we hurt someone we hurt him.
God says that whatever we do for someone else is reflected back on to him. But if you act terrible it will also reflect back unto him.
In today’s scripture it shows me that everybody has god inside of them. Whether they do right and wrong they are still part of God’s. And in doing so by treating everyone like they resemble God we can all be the sheep in the world today.
I think this scripture is telling us to not ignore the people who need help the most. To not see the outside of a person but see the inside. Everyone has a conscience, we know right from wrong. And a lot of people have gone down the wrong path, that is why we need to help them more than anyone else.
This scripture is saying that the right side is heaven and the left side is hell Jesus say to the right side ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father.Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food,I was thirsty and you gave me drink,a stranger and you welcomed me,naked and you clothed me,ill and you cared for me,in prison and you visited me.’Then the righteous will answer him and say,
‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you,or thirsty and give you drink? When did we see you a stranger and welcome you,
or naked and clothe you? When did we see you ill or in prison, and visit you?’And the king will say to them in reply,‘Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.’ he says the same thing to the left side but he says why did you not do this so it saying we need to be better at following the path
In this scripture Jesus talks about how you can’t just give to people who can give back to you you have to give to the people who need it most and you can’t give and expect to receive something back.
This scripture is telling us too stay close to God.
The thing that stuck to my mind is that everybody in the whole world to stick closer to God and after you sin whatever time you go to church you should go to confession. And if you sin and do not go to confession you cannot take the body of Christ during mass.
“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him,he will sit upon his glorious throne, and all the nations will be assembled before him.And he will separate them one from another,as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. i saw this and relied that in the end we will come together and be a whole bit the sinners will not be a part of heave the eternal reward.
what the gospel is saying to me is that when we do something good for anybody in need is doing something for God and when we dont its like hurting God because we are all the same like one person and thats God.
I think this scripture is saying that whatever we do to someone is what we do to Jesus. If we are mean to a sibling, classmate, or even our friends, we are mean to Jesus. If we are kind to them, we are being kind to Jesus. We need to remember this before we choose to be rude and mean, so that we decide to be kind and nice. Always remember that God loves you and wants you to choose the right thing.
What I think the scripture is telling us today is that we need to help other people and care for other people because they have Gods breath inside them. They were created in Gods image and likeness. We need to treat people as such. Not worship them but as to care for them in a humanly manner. Not treat them badly.
I think today’s scripture passage is trying to tell us that the things that we do for each other, we do for him. When we help somebody out, it is helping Jesus. Whenever we hurt somebody, we are hurting Jesus. By doing good things for other people, we might someday have eternal life with God in Heaven.
He is saying that you have to know the difference between the good and bad of things, and you have to get hurt to learn.
Jesus tells us that we will be judged. We need to treat others the way we want to be treated. We will be judged and go to heaven or hell. We are all created in the image of God so we should all treat each other as we want to be treated.
Jesus tells us that we should care for others as we want to be treated in Heaven,. For when judgment day comes He will choose where we go depending on our kindness here on earth and how we treated out brothers and sisters in Christ. SO we should learn and treat others as we want to be treated.
Everything that we do towards anyone has a reaction. Whether it be a consequence of our bad actions or a reward for our good actions, there will be a reaction. We need to realize that everything that we do will affect us or others. God wants us on the right side of Him but if we continue to make bad decisions on purpose and stray away from God, we won’t be able to make it to the right side, but we may make it to the left. God loves all of us so much but we have free will to make decisions.
This passage makes me think about not only showing kindness to the needy but also to our families. As I reflect, I realize just how much work my relationship with my siblings needs. Giving to those in need is extremely important, but so also is giving to those next to us who we take for granted. Jesus not only cared for the lowly, but cared for everyone. So should we care for the lowly and our neighbors.
I think this Gospel is saying that we need to treat people as we would want to be treated.
This piece of Scripture means that whatever you do to anyone, regardless of age, social status, financial status, you do unto the Lord. God placed the Holy Spirit into each and ever one of us, and the Holy Spirit is part of the trinity, the one person. If you don’t help others or be kind to them, you aren’t helping or being kind to the Lord. It reminds me of the song we sing during mass called Whatsoever You Do I think, and it goes like “Whatsoever you do to the least of my people, that you do unto me” The Lord is in us all, so if you mistreat people, you mistreat the Lord who’s inside of them.
Jesus is telling us that what ever we do to other people is like if we where doing it to him.
In this scripture I think its all in all meaning is to take care of one another. It says ‘Amen, I say to you, what you did not do for one of these least ones, you did not do for me.’ We are all family. We need to treat everyone like family.
I think this scripture is saying that God is always watching and that we should try to always be our best and be nice to everyone.
This scripture is kinda telling us to expect the unexpected. God expects us to grow in Holiness but we can’t grow in holiness if we don’t pay attention to what God is telling us and when we don’t there will be consequences. God trusts us so we have to trust him. In my opinion i think this scripture kinda relates to when God was praying in the garden and he told his disciples to stay awake but they fell asleep.
In today’s Gospel God tells us to treat others the way we want to be treated. He wants us to treat each other the way God treats us. “Love one another, as I have loves you, so you must love one another.” God says
Jesus is telling me that if I do these acts here on earth for Him, there will be a greater reward in heaven. We have to do these acts with meaning though, we can’t do them just to get to heaven, which is what many of us think. We have to do it with the intent of pleasing God and others. God gave us everything we need to get to heaven. Many times we take what we have for granted, but we have to use it for good, not bad. Whatever things we do to others, we do to God.
In today’s Gospel God is telling us to treat others the ways we want to be treated. God wants us to treat each other with the same love and kindness that God treat us with.
What this scripture reflection says to me is that we all need to be ready to help those that we can, when we can. Because by us helping them, we will be helped ourselves. When we help others, we will get closer to heaven and we can go live our eternal life.
What I got out of this Gospel was that if you make fun of/ judge another person it is like judging or making fun of God. “What you did not do for one of these least ones, you did not do for me.” Treat others like we would treat God.
The scripture was telling me that when we truly need things God will give us them. God won’t just give you things just because you want them you will have to truly need them. God wants to make us good people and he will do anything to help us.
In today’s gospel Jesus is telling us that he is in every person. God lives in each of us and we in him, “purify yourself and you will become a temple for the Holy Spirit” -St. Lucy. He tells us that we need to treat each person with as much love and respect as we would show Jesus Christ, because Christ is with us.
This scripture tells us the we are meant to be next to God, in heaven, we will be reunited with him soon as long as we are doing what must be done in earth. God wants us to rely on him and that we should never worry because he is always there with us, and God only want us to be happy. God loves us so much he sent his only Son to die on the cross, literally for us. Then, we should live right for everyone around us and for God.
I think this Gospel passage is telling me that God treats us all equally. He doesn’t give someone something they really want just because they’re better looking than another person, or gets better grades. So we can’t just ignore God, because we think he is giving someone more than what He is giving us. He is our Lord and loves us all the same, so He deserves for us to love him too.
Today Jesus talks about the second coming of Christ. We need to remember the Jesus could come again tomorrow. We need to always be ready to leave this earth. So treat everyday like it is your last day. You should always look for ways to help others.
Today Jesus is saying the people that love Him are the sheep on his right hand. The people that don’t love Him are the goats on the left. WE the people can be he sheep on his right hand by spending time with him and praying and having a conversation with Him. Some people are the goats on the left and don’t spend time with him and treat Him like a slot machine.
I think its saying that even though we keep sinning we have to to turn to him and give ourselves to Him. He is always there we just ave to knock at his door.
In today’s Gospel when it says “Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me”, the “least brothers” are one another on Earth. When you care for other people, God sees it and He knows that you are doing the right thing. Helping one another is one of the best things you can do for other people and yourself.
In today’s Gospel Christ is telling us to treat others the ways we want to be treated. God wants us to treat each other with the same love and kindness that God treat us with.
In today’s Gospel, I think that God is telling us that not everything will go well. We all do bad things but sometimes we do good things. For all the good things we do, it satisfies God. But for every sin we make, it makes Him disappointed but He understands that we all mess up and make mistakes. He doesn’t expect us to be perfect.
This scripture is telling me that God if fair for everybody. He does not pick sides between his own men and women. He doesn’t like someone better or worse just because of the color of their skin. God knows what’s best for us and he will give it, as long as we do not depart away from him.
Today, Jesus is telling us about judgment. How the sheep and the goats are seperated at judment and then we shall be given our rightful place to spend eternity. And how we need to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and care for the ill for us to enter into eternal life with him
This scripture is telling me that we need to help people. Even the people we consider lesser than us. For when we help people we help God.
This scripture says that we can love everyone by our actions and our words. Its as simple as holding the door for someone, complementing their attire, or helping your mother around the house. How can we strive be kind in our greatest troubles and temptation? Follow the example of our Lord.
This is saying to me that God is always watching us and we must try our best for him and for ourselves. It is telling us to stay close to God no matter what.
today’s Gospel is telling us about how God will seperate us by who we are on Earth and that will depend if we go inherit the kingdom of God or if we will burn in the fires of hell with Satan.
I think this scripture is telling us that we ahould not just praise God we should also be kind to others even if you dont know them or anything.
As humans we are sinners and we fail God every single day. But he is always waiting for us with open arms, even when we know what we are doing is wrong but do it anyway, he is there waiting for us. we just have to accept that we are human and we are going to want to do things that are a sin. But we have to overcome them.
I think that this Gospel is telling me that I need to trust others. I need to trust them as I would trust Jesus. I might not have my whole heart with Jesus and all of my trust, but it is definitely something that I need to work on and am willing to work on. Jesus deserves my trust and I will try and give it to him.
Today Jesus tells us through the Corporal Works of Mercy, that he is present in everyone, even the strangers. Whatever we do to others, we also do to Him. We need to treat others like Jesus. With respect and mercy. Every human life is precious in God’s eyes.
“Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus” God wants us to give ourselves to him and let him take complete control of our lives.
I think today scripture is telling us that God is always going to be there for us when we need him the most. And that we need to care for others like the saying treat others like how you want to be treated.
I think the point of the Gospel today was trying to tell us that all of our actions have consequences. He wants us to know that before we do anything. Also I think this passage was trying to tell us that God can do anything. He will do anything for us if we believe Him and go to Him.
In todays Scripture, Jesus is telling us to unexpected because he might come anytime so we need to pray and pay attention to what hes saying to us so we can be ready for he’s coming.
In today’s Scripture Jesus is telling us to be kind to our neighbors like were Jesus himself. And although the riotous people were confused because they didn’t help Jesus, they helped their neighbors and because Jesus is in everyone, they helped Jesus. That is also why they got to go to Heaven.
I think that this reading is basically a summary of our whole faith. It starts off by talking about how we will all be judged when the Lord comes a second time and he will place the good people on his right and the bad people on his left. Then he tells us how he judges us by how nice and caring we were to the people that need it the most, “the least of my brothers”. He is trying to tell us how everyone is a child of God and they all deserve to be cared for their whole life no matter what situation they are in. Even if that person is really annoying to you and you despise them, you should be able to be nice to them when they are feeling bad.
To me this means that God is telling us that we need to be respecting important thing that are God’s like the things he built like bibles and rosaries we need to stop destroying it. We also need to stop hurting other people that God made. To me he is also telling us that when we die we will be judged by Him and their will be three choices from God. Eternity with God the Father, Eternity in Hell or lastly be judged again in Purgatory.
This Scripture passage is saying that we need to treat others with respect and treat people the way you want to be treated. In order to earn respect from others, you have to show them your respect. Treating others with kindness is a way of imitating our Heavenly Father. Our reactions has consequences, use are reaction to do good because is what Jesus would want us to do.
To me this Scripture is saying that we are so selfish and God’s trying to tell us to serve Him. J.O.Y.- Jesus, others, yourself. Why don’t we understand this? It’s so simple yet we can’t seem to life our lives this way. Jesus- always put Jesus first. No matter what the situation is, think of Jesus’s feelings. How He would feel if we did this, or what He would think of us. Others- Jesus was just like that kid in your class who hangs out with all the “weird” kids. We can judge them so easily but then we get to act like if we saw Jesus doing the same thing we wouldn’t judge Him. We would easily judge Jesus and it’s so wrong of us to act like we wouldn’t. Yourself- we need to care about ourselves last. That’s the way Jesus taught us to live and that’s how we’re going to get to Heaven.
What I think the Gospel is saying is that we need to help others. We can’t just care for ourselves there are other people in the world who can barely take care of themselves. That’s why I think God is telling us to take care of others.
Today’s Gospel is telling us to treat everyone the way we would treat Jesus face-to-face, even people we don’t like, because Jesus is inside everyone of us, and when we do unkind things to people, Jesus is recieving the same treatment. We tell others that we would never, ever hurt Jesus, and yet, when we are unkind to other people, that is exactly what we are doing. We’re hurting Jesus. Treat others like you would treat Jesus, and you are telling Jesus that you love him.
This scripture is showing how you are treated in Heaven if you do good things. Heaven is if you do good things and if you do good things you will get payed back once you are there. It specificcaly says For I was hungry and you gave me food,I was thirsty and you gave me drink,a stranger and you welcomed me,naked and you clothed me,ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.’ That is saying that if you do good, than Jesus will do good to you.
we are mead in gog emij and to show us hawe yto be holly
I think this scripture is about how one day we will be judged and we will live forever with God. But right now we have to treat others with respect and care for others so we can live with God one day because when we hurt others we hurt God.
Jesus is pretty much trying to tell us to just be better people. Give money to the poor. Give food the hungry. Give drink to the thirsty. Help the sick. Just be the best “you” you can be.
I think the scripture passage is saying that what you do to the least of your brothers and sister, you do to Jesus. If you treat others well you will get treated well by Jesus and be able to share in his eternal life with Him and the Father in heaven.
Today’s scripture passage brings many meaningful meanings. I think the scripture passage today is mainly trying to tell us that the things that we do for each and every person, we also do for him. When we help somebody be happier, it is helping Jesus and making him happier too. So, that can also go the other way. When we say something mean or be mean to someone, we are hurting Jesus as well. By doing good things for people, we might someday have the best eternal life with God in Heaven!
I think the Gospel is saying how we treat others is how we treat Him. When hurt others physically or emotionally we also hurt Jesus. When we put our best effort to treat others with kindness we don’t hurt Jesus. We can think of the way Jesus treated others and apply that to our lives.
Some people are so selfish that they won’t even help people that truly need it. But others are filled with the goodness of God and help those who need it. We should want to be the people that are filled with the goodness of God.
This Scripture is saying that what you do for other people is what you are doing for the Lord.
This scripture is telling us to be kind to one another. We might not be kind to someone because of their looks, popularity, or their financial status. At the end of the day though that does not matter. We need to be kind to one another not just because, but because it can break someones self esteem. In the Scripture it says that Jesus will separate the sheep from the goats. This means that all the good people will be sheep, and the bad people as goats. I learned that we need to all be kind to each other just like Jesus is to us all.
The Gospel is saying today when Jesus comes again. His second coming. He will separate the good from the bad. The sheep are the good and the goats are the bad. He says “sheep on his right” Just like Jesus did when he asended into heaven. He also says “goats on his left.” Because when he was hungry they gave him no food.
The Gospel says today that we need to repent and help hungry, the thirsty. Then we have to just help the home less. Finally we need to help Jesus when he needs help.
I think the gospel means to treat everyone the same. God said when i was thirsty you gave me a drink. When i was hingry you gave me some food. You saw me as a stranger. This means that when we see someone that is homeless hurt or not doing good in life you have to treat them like you would Jesus and help them.
I think the scripture is telling us when we believe in God, he returns the favor. When we do good, He gives us what we need.
I think this scripture is trying to tell us that when we imitate Christ we are imitating his sacrificial for us. When Jesus was crucified, he was sacrificing himself so that we could be saved from sin. He sacrificed himself and saved us because he loves us. When we imitate Christ, we are also sacrificing others.
The scripture is telling us to stick by God’s side and flee for immoralities, sin, etc. We also need to treat one another with respect, care and welcome them no matter their past, beliefs or things they have done against us.
Whatsoever you do to the least of my people, that you do into me. This song always reminds me of this scripture because they have the same message. Jesus is inside every single person out there. Every time you walk by a homeless person, do you avoid them? Or do you help in the way that you can. Now, can you help every single person? Probably not. So are you going to be a sheep on the Lords right? Or a goat on the left. Will you help people and help Jesus by the people out there, or ignore them.
‘Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.’Then he will say to those on his left,‘Depart from me, you accursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the Devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink,” Jesus tells us that it doesn’t matter if we make all these great sacrifices for God if we are mean to those around us. We are made in God’s image and likeness, therefore, we are hurting God as well as that person.
This Gospel is reminding us that all of our actions have consequences. Everything we do there’s always an after reaction. But we remember that Jesus loves us and will always forgive us.
Jesus is saying that we should treat others with care, and help them. We do a lot of things so we can get to heaven, but we don’t do things just to be generous to others.
