Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary.

Let brotherly love continue.
Do not neglect hospitality,
for through it some have unknowingly entertained angels.
Be mindful of prisoners as if sharing their imprisonment,
and of the ill-treated as of yourselves,
for you also are in the body.
Let marriage be honored among all
and the marriage bed be kept undefiled,
for God will judge the immoral and adulterers.
Let your life be free from love of money
but be content with what you have,
for he has said, I will never forsake you or abandon you.
Thus we may say with confidence:

The Lord is my helper,
and I will not be afraid.
What can anyone do to me?

Remember your leaders who spoke the word of God to you.
Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.  HEB 13:1-8

St. Paul writing to the Hebrews explains love and he sneaks a little jewel in, “Do not neglect hospitality, for through it some have unknowingly entertained angels.”  Next time you have an opportunity to entertain a guest, serve the homeless, invite others to a party you could be entertaining angels.  I never thought about it that way but each of us has a guardian angel.  I guess they are entertained as well.  Maybe that is the motivation we need to serve the lowly more often or be more hospitable to our own family and friends.  Paul speaks of Corporal Works of Mercy, marriage vows and immorality, the trouble with love for money, to listen to your leaders who pass on the faith to you, and most importantly Jesus never changes. Jesus is Truth, Jesus is the light in the darkness that we live in the world, Jesus is the lense that makes things clear because we live in a blurry world.  Most importantly, Paul begins with, “Let brotherly love continue.”  This encapsulates everything.  This is the most important.  We must take care of one another.  Young people must take care of those who took care of them, be respectful.  We must all recognize where we have received love (we are made from it), God the Father, God the Son, and are currently being guided by it if you call the Holy Spirit to your spirit to help you love better.  Then, we must give God what is due to Him.  Love Him back, serve Him, worship Him, make Him the center of our lives.

Today’s challenge: Entertain angels!  If in doubt or in misery, make things clear and get back on the right path by turning to Jesus who does not change and is always Truth and love.  Today is Friday, sacrifice with Jesus, make yourself poor in some area.

Be a servant, become a saint!
